Dr Gerald Charles Tilley

I obtained my PhD in Theology at age seventy. In addition I have graduate degrees in Education and Biblical Studies, plus a certificate in Training. I have had an unusual teaching career for over thirty years. Besides teaching in four colleges in southern California, my teaching assignemnts have included a language school and a university in China, four universities in Ukraine over a period of seven summers and at a Student Leadership Insitute in Yerevan, Armenia. In addition to teaching Theology and Biblical Studies, Ive taught English as a Foreign Language, Reading and Study Skills, 20th Century United States History, and American History & Culture.

The colleges in California where i have taught were American Intercontinental University, Baptist Bible College of the West, Cerritos College (15years) and Californian Biblical University. The University at which I taught in China is Jiangxi University of Science & Technology. Three of the Universities in Ukraine were in Simferopol, Crimea. These are: Commonwealth International , University, the Pedagogical University and National University. The other school was Open Christian University in Odessa.

My preparation for teaching included studies at Multnomah, Western Oregon, California State University, Long Beach (extension) and California Biblical University; as well as Western, Golden Gate and Fuller Seminaries. I have published thirteen books in Theology (Apologetics), two in Biblical Studies and six on Church History. I am currently working on another book on Church History, one on secular History and another in Theology.
