Stephane FAUCOURT

Stephane Faucourt is from the first generation of Star Wars fans that grew up in France in the 1970s. He has assembled one of European’s largest Collection of French toys and marketing documents covering the era from the Original Trilogy (1977 to 1986) resulting of more than two decades of collecting. He started authoring books in 2006 with “From Meccano to Trilogo” which revealed the French action figure toy series to the collecting community and helped generate the increased enthusiasm around them; followed with several other books related to vintage-era collectibles, each with increased content and quality. Stephane also contributes on promoting French collectibles and their history through various websites, conferences and collecting panels at various events, Star Wars gatherings, and official Star Wars Celebrations. Most recently, he started a new series of hardcover volumes, emphasizing high-quality visuals, original-format documents whenever possible, and featuring key information from those years of collecting, researching, and interviewing former employees.
