White Leaf Oak Publishing was created by Lisa Brown. Lisa lives in Malvern, Worcestershire and, together with her husband, owns and runs The Showground Shop, an old circus trailer converted into a convenience store based on the Three Counties Showground. Being open for the wide range of events held there, Lisa gets to meet thousands of people a year - all passionate about their particular hobby. Through many lovely conversations, it became clear that she could create a range of books that would be both useful for and appreciated by her customers. White Leaf Oak Publishing grew out of this idea and, by being in the unique position of talking to so many people, Lisa is able to gain valuable insight and suggestions for what would be most useful in a book for each hobby.
