Kim Wickens

Kim Wickens is the author of the nonfiction book Lexington: The Extraordinary Life and Turbulent Times of America's Legendary Racehorse. Wickens practiced law for twenty years before directing her full focus to writing, which she studied at Kenyon College. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, Narrative Magazine, The Blood Horse, and The Paulick Report. A horse girl, Wickens rides in the dressage discipline, and has had a lifelong interest in racehorses. She lives in Lexington, Kentucky with her husband, son, two dogs, and three horses.
