Goblee Smith is an author who has dedicated his career to educating and inspiring children through his books on Black history and Black people. Born and raised in a predominantly Black community, Goblee has always been passionate about sharing the stories and experiences of his community with a wider audience.
After earning a degree in African American Studies from a prestigious university, Goblee began working as a teacher in inner-city schools, where he witnessed firsthand the impact that a lack of representation in children's literature can have on young Black students.
