Becky is a certified professional coach specializing in leadership, transition, performance, and well-being. She draws from over forty years of leadership experience in small businesses, nonprofits, and ministry in her coaching, writing, teaching, and training. Becky’s approach to training women how to be effective leaders centers on the idea that if you want to be the boss of someone, you must first learn how to be the boss of yourself: how you think, owning your giftedness, using your voice, knowing your limitations, and taking care of yourself as an act of worshipping God, your creator. She is passionate about mindset work. Where others see problems, Becky sees possibilities. Where others see change, Becky sees opportunity. When others call her wise, she knows it is the wisdom gained from many mistakes and lessons learned. In an effort to heal from loss upon loss, she developed a strategic approach to navigating life’s transitions and embracing the next chapter, which is the foundation of this book as well as her group and individual coaching programs. Although coaching is Becky’s passion, family is her life, and she looks for any opportunity to spend time with her four children and their families, including seventeen grandchildren. Her favorite people call her Nana.
