Jack was born and raised in Bridgeton, N.J. After studying and working in many parts of the world, including a two-year stint in the Peace Corps in the village of Abam Eba in Gabon. Jack settled in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) over 50 years ago and has been an English teacher, language school owner, and a sea kayak guide during these years. Jack has university degrees in anthropology, English literature, political science, and community development.
Jack is married to a lovely Spanish woman and is the proud father of two sons and three grandchildren
