Debora Ann Davidson

I'm proud to be an educator, and I have been for more than 25 years now. I've taken on many roles during my career: a special education teacher, general education teacher, reading and math interventionist, school-based literacy coach, school-based standards coach, and a district special education instructional coach. I have taught, coached and provided professional development for all grade levels, K-12. I have a Bachelor's Degree in special education from the University of North Florida, and a Master's Degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Florida. My purpose for writing this series of books is to empower special education students by equipping teachers with the tools and confidence to write grade level, standards-based IEP goals and objectives for their students, no matter what abilities the students have or what programs in which they are placed. I've also written these books as a helpful resource for parents, home-schoolers, service providers and general eduction teachers.
