Balveen Singh

Originally raised in the Fiji Islands, Balveen moved to California but always carried her Indian heritage in her heart. Maintaining a connection to her heritage language formed a meaningful part of her identity. When she became a parent she had a deep desire to pass on her heritage language to her half Indo-Fijian, half American daughter, and other kids like her. Her mission is to help busy parents pass on language and culture to their children through entertaining bilingual books and products. Her debut book Chalo Jungle Chalein (Let’s Go To The Jungle) is the first in a series of books helping kids everywhere build their bilingual vocabulary.
