Reading has always been an escape for me: adventures in far-away galaxies or imagined worlds, with elves, dragons, wizards, aliens, or mermaids as companions, are so much more interesting than everyday life.
I started writing when my overactive imagination created vivid dreams at night. Putting that imagination to work by writing stories proved to be the solution.
