Sally McRae Bio Sally McRae is a professional mountain/ultra runner. Known worldwide for her mental fortitude and ability to push through extreme discomfort, Sally uses her platform to encourage others to Choose Strong in life and sport. Some of her career highlights include, 2x Top 10 Western States finisher, Badwater 135 Champion, Tarawera 100 Champion, Mozart 100 Champion, along with 2nd place finishes at Ultra Race of Champions, Gobi Desert 80k, Ultra Trail Cape Town, and recently became the first person to Double Summit Mount Whitney from Lone Pine in a single attempt, covering 92 miles and 22,000 feet of gain. Currently (2023), Sally is competing in the Grand Slam of 200s and the Triple Crown of 200s, recently placing 3rd place under grueling conditions at Tahoe 200. Sally is a well known strength and running coach; you can hear her on the Nike Run Club app, as well as on iFit. She also has her own fitness app called Sally McRae Strength. She has coached thousands of athletes to PRs, and in mental toughness across a variety of endurance sports. Recently Sally released her first book, CHOOSE STRONG; and hosts a podcast with her husband, Eddie called THE CHOOSE STRONG PODCAST.
