Zlatko Simovski

Zlatko Simovski is a former cruise ship crew member and author of 'Diary of a Cruise Ship Employee (Uncensored).' Born in a third-world country, his beginnings are in construction, where he started as a 12 years old boy and worked there for the next 13 years, graduating in biotechnical sciences on the way. After completing his education, he decides to get to know the other side of the sun and applies for a pool attendant job on a cruise ship. There, he spent five years working hard but also created a lifetime of memories by visiting some of the most beautiful places on earth, living and working with amazing people from over 70 countries, and meeting thousands of dear passengers. He had the most beautiful job in the world by most of the criteriums, but the covid thing ended his seaman's career in March 2020. The cruise ships stayed parked for an extended period, so Zlatko decided to accept a three-month seasonal job offer in an Alaska seafood processing plant, which job he did for the next three years. Starting from the absolute bottom, the author of this book managed to fix his life to some point, but feeling the effects of his 20-plus years of extreme working routine, he decides to find another way to survive on this planet and, among other things, publishes 'Diary of a Cruise Ship Employee (Uncensored)' that he wrote during his first contract on a cruise ship.
