Hi, I'm Carmen!

I was born and raised in San Diego, California, and then attended University where I studied Early Childhood and Development, and have found myself since in a number of roles which involve mentoring and nurturing children.

Over the course of the last 15 years, I've worked in a number of teaching and counselling roles, and as of late, as a consultant and coach. Only lately did I decide to start my authoring journey, and haven't looked back since! 

I found that writing books is the perfect way to document my journey: every experience and anecdote is a form of inspiration when writing, and I can definitely assure you, that as a mother, wife, daughter, older sibling and teacher, that inspiration can come from the smallest of places.

I'm now living in Fort Lauderdale with my four children, husband, and family dog, Luna. When I'm not writing or working, I love going to the beach, baking, gardening, and spending time with my lovely family!
