Helen Martin

Helen has always lived in Saskatchewan, Canada. She completed grade twelve in 1964 and then graduated with a diploma in psychiatric nursing in 1967, winning an award for psychogeriatric nursing. Married in 1967, Wayne and Helen have one daughter, a university professor in New York State.

Years ago, upon completing a writing aptitude test that yielded the response, “impressive, highly rated,” Helen’s writing interest was sparked. Helen also actively supports Saskatchewan Child Find as she deeply empathizes with these (often abused) children and with adults in emotional distress who benefit from her gift of listening and genuine concern.
