Dan Clapson

Dan Clapson has been The Globe and Mail columnist for the Prairie region since 2015. He is the co-founder of the popular food media outlet and events company Eat North, a judge for national restaurant award programs as well as a regular culinary expert on outlets such as Global News and CTV Morning Live. The award-winning writer has contributed to a wide range of acclaimed publications including Out Magazine, Air Canada enRoute, Eater, Vice, Calgary Herald, Xtra and more. Outside of the food realm, Clapson co-owns the Calgary venue The Prairie Emporium and is celebrated in the Canadian country music realm for his award-winning live music series Blue Jay Sessions.
