ABOUT THE AUTHOR Danny Lane is a highly decorated US Marine. He was awarded two Purple Hearts, the Marine Combat Action Medal, the Vietnamese Gallantry Cross, and the Vietnamese Service & Campaigns Medals for Valor in Vietnam. Danny is also a decorated, retired Police Officer. He was awarded the Mayors Bravery Medal for saving two trapped men in an upside-down burning vehicle. During his career, he worked as a Major Crimes Detective, Tactical Unit Member, SWAT Member, Police Defensive Tactics Instructor, Drug Task Force (undercover), and Uniformed Patrol. As a Detective and Private Investigator, he has worked on approximately 200 murder cases over his fifty-three years in law enforcement and private investigations. In addition to being a veteran and police officer, he is a 9th Degree martial arts master and has trained with Chuck Norris for forty-three years. He is a former bodyguard to stars and corporate executives and worked in Manhattan for many years protecting a corporate executive from the mob. Danny is a published author. His last book, “Some Gave it All - reached #1 on Amazon shortly after its release. It is endorsed by actor and movie star Chuck Norris. He also wrote Spy Combat Tactics, a covert government tactics training system, with CIA Officer Jason Hanson.
