Joseph McRae Palmer writes speculative fiction. He is also an engineer in the telecommunications industry and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University. Joseph was born in Utah, but raised in Sitka, Alaska, graduating from high school in 1993. Later, he served as a missionary for two years in central Mexico. He and his wife of more than two decades, Beatriz Palmer, are parents of one son and three daughters, and as of 2023 they reside in northern Utah, USA.
