Born in March of 1965 in a Los Angeles hospital, Kathy was to be adopted out. A mere thirty days later her parents canceled the adoption process and instead took her home. Thus, her roller coaster existence began. Becoming an author was not in Kathy’s plans but, following careers in offset printing, digital publishing, and executive assistant, it’s where she landed. Twenty years of drug and alcohol addiction, two marriages each issuing a child, and another twenty years in addiction recovery, dabbling in blogs, creating a large variety of creative art pieces, and the recovery community lead to this latest endeavor. Her first book, a memoir and guide, offers insight into the addiction to marijuana and a way out. Kathy lives in Palm Desert, California with her husband Ron and their cat, Jingle Bells. Blessed with four exceptional offspring and five wonderful grandchildren Kathy continues to work a daily program of recovery, to keep what she's been given by giving it away.
