Shawn E. Marchese went down the hobbit hole in his teens and has been in love with Middle-earth ever since. He co-hosted The Prancing Pony Podcast, a weekly podcast about J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, regularly for six seasons. A native of Louisiana, he lives in Texas with his wife and two children, who seem to enjoy his dinner table retellings of stories from the First Age.
