He pursued his academic journey in Aeronautical Engineering and successfully obtained his degree in 2010. Throughout his life, Carlos has harbored a profound fascination with Elvis' history and his connection to the world of aviation, particularly his remarkable relationship with aircraft. From his first visit to Graceland in 2001, Carlos' intrigue grew exponentially, leading him to meticulously collect every little detail, paragraph, video, photograph, and piece of information relating to Elvis and his planes. This comprehensive archive became a treasure trove of unique Elvis stories and a wealth of knowledge about the intersection of aviation and the King's legacy. In 2021, Carlos beautifully compiled all this captivating information into a glorious book titled "Los Aviones y el Rey" (The Airplanes & the King), which quickly gained popularity within the Elvis fan community. The book, available in a limited Spanish edition, stands out as the first of its kind to explore this captivating subject matter. As a result of the overwhelming demand from Elvis enthusiasts, an English edition of the book was subsequently released. Carlos is incredibly honored that his book is now available for purchase at the renowned "Graceland Air" store in Memphis, where visitors can explore and appreciate Elvis' airplanes. This achievement is a dream come true for him, and being featured at such a prestigious location dedicated to preserving the legacy of Elvis is a testament to the book's significance and the author's dedication. In addition to his literary pursuits, Carlos Varrenti shares his expertise as a teacher at the UTN University in Buenos Aires, where he instructs students in several aeronautical subjects such as Aeroelasticity, Airport Design, and Aircraft Accident Investigations.
