Jessica Wedel

The author grew up in a small down in Kansas with a lot of pets! She attended the University of Kansas where she studied Early Childhood Education. While attending college she spent 7 years working in daycare centers. She was an infant and toddler teacher who soon realized the importance of reading to children.

Years later, after quitting her corporate job and wondering which direction she should take, she was reminded of the unique story of meeting Miss Kitty Jupiter. She decided to challenge herself by writing the story in rhyme format. She gave it a shot, and once she started writing she couldn’t stop! After finishing the written story, she decided to tap into her artistic talent. She learned about graphic design and decided to illustrate the book as well.🎨📖
