Erin Halbmaier’s love of a good tale covers multiple genres, but the relationships are always what draw her in. As such, she strives to create complex, compelling characters and put them in tense, dramatic situations as they seek the light in the midst of whatever darkness they may be facing. In essence, her characters have flaws and may kiss, but her fantasy/romance books will never be steamy, have minimal to no swearing, and minimal to no gore.

When not writing books (or reading them), she can be found programming or hanging out with her husband, two children, and two dogs at their home in the country.
