Claudia Rodriguez was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, Central America in 1971. She began writing in 2013 and currently lives in the beautiful Inland Empire in Southern California. The title of her first book is El Salvador 1979 The Civil War Escape - Memories of a child. She immigrated to the United States in 1979 with her sister and mother fleeing the civil war from El Salvador. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration with accounting concentration from California State University of San Bernardino. She also has served as a city commissioner for the city of San Bernardino and a member of other governing agencies. She loves to travel and to learn to speak different languages. Being a mentor to younger adults and seeing them succeed makes her feel honored by their accomplishments. She believes that overcoming struggles and having the willingness to succeed anyone can accomplish their dreams no matter where in the world they are. Claudia loves to write non-fiction, fiction, children and action books. She also works as a background actor as her new part-time career.
