Brooke Clegg is a teacher and the author of Raising a Child With ADHD- How To Go From Surviving To Thriving. Her work is focused on raising children with ADHD, covering everything from diagnosis to coping with challenging behaviors. Brooke has worked in education for many years, initially as a teacher’s aide in special needs education. She has been teaching for over 17 years, and throughout this time, has worked with a range of neurodiverse children, including many with ADHD. She is also the parent of a child with ADHD, and her unique perspective as both a parent and an educator gives her a comprehensive understanding of the condition and the best ways to provide support and encourage children to thrive. Brooke loves working with children and helping them overcome the challenges that stand in the way of them reaching their full potential. Realizing that her knowledge and experience could help far more people than the children she works with, she branched out into writing, producing comprehensive and informative resources designed to support both parents and educators of children with ADHD. Brooke lives with her husband (also a teacher in special education), two children, two dogs, and a cat. She loves drawing, painting, and going to the theater.
