Elizabeth Horn is the cofounder and codirector of The ART of Infertility, for which she has curated more than 30 exhibits since its inception in 2014. A photographer by training, she turned to mixed media after being diagnosed with infertility in 2010. She also began documenting the lives of others with infertility through portraits and interviews to share those stories with medical practitioners and legislators. The ART of Infertility received the Hope Award for Innovation from RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association in 2018. Elizabeth has been a health care communicator since the spring of 2000, providing communications strategies, writing, photography, and graphic design for the Departments of Pathology and Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. She lives in Ann Arbor, MI, with her family.
