Katie Baron

Katie Baron lives in rural Sussex County, New Jersey, with her husband and her dogs: Archer the Therapy Dog, and Geordi, therapy dog in-training. Katie is a passionate advocate for the benefits of therapy dogs and increasing awareness about the public access rights of different types of working dogs. When she's not visiting local schools and nursing homes with Archer, Katie works as a project manager for a Fortune 500 financial services company. In her spare time, Katie loves to crochet, garden, and of course, read. Katie's sidekick and best canine friend is Archer - a fun-loving Golden Retriever who enjoys swimming, playing keep away, and belly rubs. Archer started training to become a therapy dog when he was 13 weeks old. After 2 years of training and hard work, Archer and Katie passed the test to become a Therapy Dog Team.
