Elizabeth Bird is a retired teacher-librarian who loves to share her love of books and stories with children. In 2002 she worked with a grade 5 class in Toronto and together they won the Canada wide Scholastics Book Fair Create-a-Book Award. Elizabeth is an avid painter whose work has been shown in art galleries throughout the Niagara region. She has a master’s degree in education from the University of Toronto where she specialized in guidance and counselling. Elizabeth is also the author of How Does Your Garden Grow? (FriesenPress 2020). She lives with her husband, Robert and their little dog, Elmo, in Welland, Ontario.
