Chip DeLorenzo

Chip DeLorenzo, M.Ed. is the co-author, with Jane Nelsen, of Positive Discipline in the Montessori Classroom. As a presenter, trainer and school consultant, Chip has worked with thousands of Montessori teachers and parents all over the world teaching the principles and practices of Positive Discipline through various workshops and lectures. Chip began his career in Montessori education 1995 and holds Early Childhood, Lower and Upper Elementary AMS certifications, and worked extensively with Montessori Adolescent students. Chip served as the Head of School of the Damariscotta Montessori School in Maine for 20 years. He is currently a Teaching Professor at Xavier University's Montessori Institute. Chip is the father of five Montessori children, and he and his wife, Kathy, live in Loveland, Ohio.
