Tony is a certified Business Development Professional (BDP) with more than 30 years of business development, sales, and operations experience supporting some of the most elite organizations in the world.
As Chief Growth Officer of SOFTECH Catalyst, he served 24 small, medium, and large corporations. His proven track record of winning grew customer revenue by as much as 100% ARR.
With a penchant for winning and a passion for customer advocacy, he launched his business development consulting practice in 2015. He quickly built trusted relationships with a reputation for a “roll up your sleeves” ethos providing everything from corporate strategy to nearly 2,000 pages of hands-on proposal development.
As a “Player Coach,” he led nearly 100 sales, business development, and proposal activities across multiple contract types. He created winning revenue generation efforts while optimizing proposal operations, business development, capture activities, Price to Win, and probability of winning. He also created new business development methods, reducing costs and schedules by as much as 30%.
Tony participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions on the buy-side and sell-side of deals. He integrated pipelines of acquired businesses driving business growth and achieving strategic objectives. He also developed a deep capability for maximizing a seller’s valuation by optimizing healthy pipelines.
Prior to his business development career, Tony led technology integration operations for high growth commercial entities and mission critical government programs. He also led and managed operations for high growth Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud engineering and telecommunications corporations.
Tony is passionate about coaching the next generation of growth leaders. He continually promotes the art, science, and ethics of the business development profession on social media.
Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech.
