Lorilyn is a retired corporate finance manager and teacher who resides in Virginia Beach, VA. Originally from New York, Lorilyn relocated after retiring. She began writing poetry and short stories at an early age for school publications and pleasure and now fully indulges in her passion. Lorilyn is also an avid reader and loves to travel. Lorilyn writes stories featuring African-American characters and complex, dynamic family relationships, with a dash of mystery and romance.
