Tetsuya Yamazaki

Tetsuya Yamazaki is a 75-year-old nature loving man. He believes that every individual, much like every tree, has a unique story to tell. His passion for bonsai began in the heart of Tokyo, where amidst the bustling city streets, he discovered an oasis of tranquility in a small bonsai nursery. He lost his first bonsai tree, a delicate Acer palmatum. But instead of giving up, he sought guidance from bonsai masters, immersing himself in their wisdom and learning from their decades of experience. He traveled across Japan, from the misty mountains of Kyoto to the serene coastal towns of Okinawa, gathering knowledge and stories. Those shared experiences inspired him to pen down his knowledge, aimed to guide and comfort others on their bonsai journey.
