Robert Johns

Robert Johns is an author of fiction in St. Paul, Minnesota. After receiving a Master of Arts in English in 1976 from the University of Iowa, he dreamed of writing stories about conflict and identity in the face of cultural forces. Forty years later, following an academic and public sector career in transportation research, he began writing fiction with guidance from The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. His debut novel, O'BRIEN'S BROKEN PLAY, was published in 2023, and his trilogy of short novels, THE FIGHTERS: A TRILOGY, was published in 2024.
