Addy Paul

Addy Paul has been a teacher for over 21 years. She has taught kindergarteners, teenagers, and adults. After the pandemic, she left the classroom as a full time teacher and explored other careers. Interestingly, Addie returned to the classroom soon after and worked as a substitute teacher at various public, private, and charter schools in New York City. Sometimes working as a Sub made her feel unappreciated, and at times, invisible. On one of her teaching assignments, she was tasked with taking the kindergarteners to the bathroom multiple times throughout the day. Through countless trips waiting on the students outside the bathroom, she got inspired to write. Her interactions with the students inside and outside the classroom were such a source of inspiration that the ideas flowed. There was so much to learn and so many personalities to deal with. Every new experience was a new story to write about as the little people learned to navigate this new environment. There were also new ways to learn the basics of education that Addy wanted to be a part of and share with the world. Her first set of books “Just Books” feature picture books for pre-schoolers! They are part of the "Love and Learn" Series! They are fun, colorful, and easy to read books with engaging messages! They also include interactive educational workbooks! What a world of stories and experiences to tell the world! What love and how real it all was!! And so “The Incidental Author” - “TIA” was born. “It always works out” - Best Believe!
