Atira Alexander

Atira is a new author who was inspired to write and share this story after years of dealing with hair loss. Atira wanted to create a story that not only reflected her experiences but children and adults who also deal with various forms of alopecia. She works as a full time Special Education Teacher at a local Elementary School in South Jersey. Atira hopes to build a love of literacy in both children and adults by creating more books that reflect real life experiences. Although this is her first book, she knows, it will not be her last.
