
Dr. The Most Rev. Charles Jason Gordon was ordained a priest in 1991. He is a priest of Living Water Community, a lay ecclesial community in Trinidad and Tobago. He entered the Seminary of St. John Vianney and the Uganda Martyrs and earned a BA in Theology with First Class Honours, 1986. In 1998, he earned a BA in Philosophy and a Masters in Religious Science, Magna cum Laude, at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He completed his PhD at the Jesuit College, Heythrop, 2003. Tireless community outreach has earned him many awards. He is a former lecturer at St. John Vianney and Uganda Martyrs. In September 2011, he was ordained Bishop for the Dioceses of Bridgetown, Barbados, and Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. On December 27, 2017, he was installed as Archbishop of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He is currently the President of the Antilles Episcopal Conference of Bishops and Chair of the Conference’s Commission on the New Evangelization.
