Rachel Matthews earned a Bachelor's degree in Professional and Technical Writing from Utah State University, then started writing online user manuals for software companies. She also wrote pro bono for the Logan Refugee Center, the Utah Hemophilia Foundation, and the Utah Food Bank. In 2013, she started True Story, a business focused on creating and improving nonfiction content. Rachel has a passion for preserving personal stories and transforming family histories into engaging, cohesive narratives that will connect generations. Years of crafting instructional materials and true stories uniquely prepared Rachel to author an interactive guide that helps people look for God in their lives and write about the miracles they find. Rachel understands that it’s impossible to remember our subtle, sacred moments unless we document them. For decades, she has taught adults and youth how they can strengthen their ability to recognize and wield personal revelation by writing about their spiritual experiences. She enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and going on road trips with her family. Rachel especially loves to attend outdoor festivals so she can taste food from other cultures and dance to live music.
