Celso Lazcano. Havana, Cuba, January 3, 1971. Self-taught narrator and poet. His narrative includes the saga The “Meerkat And The Cat”, which has 4 books dedicated to children and young people and “Fantastic Stories”, in the editing process. In poetry he has cultivated the décima and the sonnet, as well as the most modern currents. It is with his décima that he receives the favorable criticism of Jesús Orta Ruiz, the Indian Naborí, National Prize for Literature, Cuba, 1995. He has written the “decimars” (books of décimas) “Reminiscences of Life” and “Slave of the Heart”. A nurse by profession, he has resided in the US since July 2013. He is married and has two children.
