Sharon Keating is a lawyer and amateur historian, with a BA degree in history from the University of New Orleans and a law degree from Loyola University Law School. Sharon also served as a licensed tour guide in New Orleans after receiving a certification from Delgado College. She is semi-retired from the law, but continues to study the history of New Orleans. Sharon is the author of New Orleans in Photographs and New Orleans Then and Now, and was a travel writer and contributor to Tripsavvy. Sharon is a resident of New Orleans where she lives with her husband of over 50 years in a 150 year-old house with their yellow Lab and a resident ghost. She is the mother of two daughters and the grandmother of five perfect grandchildren. Sharon and her daughter, Christi Keating Sumich, are the co-authors of Haunting Good Spirits: New Orleans Cocktails to Die For.and The Brandy Milk Punch.
