Kori grew up drawing pictures on her math homework and collecting unusual English words. Her life-long affinity of language and art naturally spilled over into writing and illustration. She and her husband Sammy are the happy duo behind the books in the "Hometown Highlights Alphabet Series" which bring to light the beauty and unique aspects of Bay Area cities. Their delightful picture books weave together each city's past and present through fascinating local history, whimsical poetry, and colorful paintings.
