Hi there! I'm a published wildlife artist working from the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, in England. For the last 5 years I’ve been Artist In Residence at Arley Arboretum which is nestled in the Wyre Forest next to the River Severn. I've always had a love of nature and am constantly inspired by the birds and animals that live in the woodlands that surround my home. I started drawing in 2010, followed by painting in 2011. By 2015, I worked with Demontfort Fine Art, Pyramid International and Enesco to create artwork for galleries, retail outlets, cruise liners and art houses throughout the world. In 2020, I joined up with the online platform Domestika and created a series of 4 best selling courses, the most popular one of which was on painting birds. With over 120,000 courses sold, I have had the honour and pleasure of connecting with students across the globe. In 2021, I collaborated with the lovely people at Herbert Press to create this self help guide on painting birds in watercolour. This was a real labour of love and I am thrilled with the resultant book which was published in February 2024 in the Uk, with subsequent release dates for US and Australia. As for the future, who knows? At the moment I’m working on some very special wildlife painting retreats in the UK and overseas… plus an on line academy to be launched in 2025.
