I remember when my mom would get me ready for school. In kindergarten I started in the late class, which I think began at noon. Each day my mom would get me dressed and combed, and while I was waiting for the bus, she would let me watch reruns of The Andy Griffith Show and eat a tuna fish sandwich. I grew to love the show, and can't eat a tuna fish sandwich to this day without thinking of it, but it was much much later that I began to realize what a blessing that show and the world of Mayberry is. There is so much to learn about honesty, integrity, and friendship just from watching The Andy Griffith Show. May you enjoy passing the time with these books, and watch Andy with a greater appreciation, as I have.
