Assistant Director of Mixology of London’s multi-awarded Connaught Bar, Giorgio Bargiani is one of the most influential bartender profiles on the global bar scene, also recipient of the much-coveted International Bartender of the Year award at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards 2023. Giorgio’s hospi-tality legacy is rooted in his family’s restaurant and boutique shops heritage in Pisa, Italy. Giorgio started bartending during his degree studies, and decided to pursue this career for the future, moving to luxury hotels to sharpen his skillset. Giorgio joined The Connaught Bar in 2014 where, under the guide of Ago Perrone, continued to grow standing out for his contagious energy and drive. An ambassador of five-star hospitality, Giorgio’s influence on The Connaught Bar has emerged throughout the creative innovations, events and collaborations that have seen his lead. Communication, creativity and connections are the pillars of Giorgio’s approach to the bar world, driven by a distinctive will to surprise and entertain his guests while maintaining a classic touch.
