Lt. Dan McCann

Dan is a retired Professor of Human Physiology and an active Volunteer Firefighter in Mead Washington. He was born and raised in Providence, R.I., and received undergraduate and graduate degrees at Springfield College, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Davis. He has published numerous research articles in national and international scientific journals and recently published his first book "On My Way!: A Volunteer Firefighter/EMT's Story" about his many years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in the Foothills of Mt. Spokane in Eastern Washington.
