Catherine J Brown, MSN, RN was the youngest of three children. She grew up with her mother, and two siblings with a very supportive grandmother playing an integral role in her life. She knew at a young age that she wanted to become a Nurse. As a Registered Nurse for over 32 years, she walked away from the very thing she loved, in search of something more… bliss. “Everything happens for a reason” is a quote that the author has truly believed and something she often heard from her grandmother and best friend throughout her life. It has given her strength in times of difficulty and challenges; a reason to move ahead and see life’s challenges as lessons, not regrets or blows.
