Michelle Bannister Williams is an anti-racist leader, community activist, speaker, facilitator and author. She serves as a DEI-B educator, helping others acknowledge and navigate their unconscious biases. She leads and facilitates diverse groups both online and in-person. Having skillfully navigated being a Black woman in mostly white spaces in her personal and professional life, she is passionate about challenging stale narratives around racism and exposing the impact of systemic racism in America and is dedicated to normalizing discussions about race relations and helping to identify and dismantle oppressive systems with the objective of making the world a more equitable place for all. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, she currently lives in Plainfield, Illinois with her husband Seán, where they raised their 3 adult sons.
