Tamar Amar-Dahl

Tamar Amar-Dahl, Ph.D. is a Berlin-based, independent Israeli-German historian specializing in Israel’s history, politics, and political culture. Having studied in Tel Aviv and Hamburg, she earned her doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich with an intellectual biography of the Israeli politician Shimon Peres. She is the author of “Zionist Israel and the Question of Palestine. Jewish Statehood and the History of the Middle East Conflict” (2017, Berlin/Boston).
