Dr. Rebecca Storrow holds a Doctorate of Philosophy from the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova Southeastern University. She pursues her interest in peacemaking through the development of books and documentary films that promote children’s education, access to justice, community dialogue, illuminate racial injustice and support needed services to underserved populations. Rebecca also attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, HB Studio, and has enjoyed working in both theater and film as both an actor and producer. Rebecca has been a Florida Supreme Court certification in family, dependency, circuit, and county mediation. Areas of expertise include filmmaking, acting, writing, mediation, restorative justice, organizational conflict management, program evaluation, and indigenous forms of conflict resolution. Rebecca has served as an adjunct professor at three Florida universities and has published numerous articles and studies on regarding mediative practices and co-authored two chapters in the 2017 first edition of the Mediation Handbook, edited by Dr. Alexia Georgakopoulos. Fun includes being a working drummer, singer, extreme gardener and ice figure skater.
