New to children's book writing, Emily Bouchard felt the category needed a book about Doodles. Overwhelmed at times with the loving affection of her Doodle and the realization that there are not many children’s books about this increasingly popular breed, Emily set-off to publish a book about Dude. Emily Bouchard also owns a successful floral design company, Embellish Floral Design, and resides in central California with her husband, Golden Doodle and Bearded Collie (big changes recently as both both children left the nest to adventure in Texas attending college). As a first time Children’s book author, she found the book publishing process rewarding. Should there be a sequel?
