Cathy Hussey

Cathy is an accomplished educator with over three decades of experience in various schools across Fort Nelson, Vancouver, Delta, and Southern Vancouver Island. She is passionate about telling stories and introducing students to their next book. She has integrated nature into her schools by developing greening projects in courtyards, playgrounds, and water-filtering rain gardens. In her free time, Cathy enjoys exploring the rainforests and coastal beaches. At home in Victoria, BC she is often found in the company of a good book, creating something out of wool or clay, and spending time in her garden, where she speaks sweetly to the bees.
