Mrs. Amanda Perko Balsavage

My name is Amanda Perko Balsavage. I am a music teacher and choir director, with a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, a Bachelor of Music Education from York College, and a Master of Music Education from Boston University. Songs were previously my expressive outlet until becoming a mother to two spirited children: Christopher and Emmaline. Their love of adventure and reading reignited my passion for stories and the written word, and inspired the characters in my first children's series: The Chicken and The Squirrel. It is my hope that the stories my children inspire, help to inspire others to share the joy of reading, especially with our little ones.
